Description

PIR Motion Ocuupancy Sensor Switch

  • PIR Motion Sensor Switch with Light Sensor are ocuupancy(PIR) Sensor offers security and convenience in the areas that they cover.
  • PIR Motion sensor is an intelligent device which detects IR Rays emitted by Human Being and controls the ON & OFF operation of electrical loads.
  • This highly sensitive Sensor Element detects human movement within its detection area and automatically turns the load ON.
  • The Loads are kept ON till the Human Movement persists in the room and turned OFF after preset time delay if no movement is detected within the set time.
  • It has an additional in built photo sensor (dusk to dawn sensor) which can set the sensor to turn ON artificial light only when the ambient light condition (LUX Level) drops below the set value.
  • This reduces the large amount of energy wastage and helps in making the most energy efficient system along with security.

PIR Motion Ocuupancy Sensor

Benfits of using Motion sensor

Improve Home Security & safety:
Automatically turn on lights on motion or movement so thieves criminals, burglars, and vandals get fooled as an occupant house , office and factory.

Enhanced Safety:
Motion sensor connected outdoor lights deter animals and trespassers away from your property.

More Convenience:
With the motion sensors lights turning on upon your arrival, No need to search for the switch.

Cost Savings & Save Energy:
With motion sensor lights, you will use your lights only when you need to, it will reduce energy bills & saves money.

Light up Difficult Areas:
There are many places in the house that don’t have convent light switches. Motion sensor can help illuminate these areas by simply walking by.

Simple to Install:
Motion sensors come with very easy installation, They’re simple to put up and work immediately, making them a great security option.

Long Lifespan:
Motion sensors are incredibly durable and long-lasting. It also increase life of connecting lights.

Application

A motion sensor is a security device that is installed in buildings to measure and detect movement in a given area. Generally, these devices are used to alert owners of unauthorized movement in restricted areas, particularly after hours. The device is used in commercial and residential properties, as well as on industrial and military premises.

Best Use cases & Applications

Toilets, Washrooms & Changing rooms
One of the best uses of motion sensors are in Common toilets, washrooms & dressing rooms, where people genrally forgot to switch off lights after use.

Intruder alert
Motion sensors is the most common application for residential, business and government properties. Sensors detect when an intruder has entered the premises or when unauthorized personnel has strayed into a restricted area.

Parking/Garages gates
In pay-to-park garages and close-gated, private parking spaces, which determine whether someone entering or exiting.  At gated entryways to parking lots, the motion sensor detects the presence of your vehicle, and you simply flash your pass to activate the gate.

Entryway lighting
In entry ways, such as hallways, doorways and property gates, sensors detect movement from incoming vehicles or people passing and entering. The sensors will activate their lights for easier navigation and turn off when there’s a lack of motion to conserve energy.

Security lighting
Security lights work in tandem with intruder alarms. When a burglar trespasses onto a property, the motion sensor detects unauthorized movement that triggers an alarm. Simultaneously, security lights flash on throughout the area in question to scare off and deprive the intruder of any hiding spaces on the property.

Automation
In addition to security systems, motion sensors are also used in modern luxury buildings for everything from automatic doors to bathroom fixtures.
Front and back doors, Store rooms, Garages, Windows, Fences, Gated entrances, Lights above doorways, personnel has strayed into a restricted area.

Different motion sensor types include

Passive infrared (PIR):
Generally used for residential properties, PIRs detect changes in infrared energy caused by alterations from body heat. When a sensor detects the slightest change in temperature within its protective grid, it signals an alarm. In the past, incoming sunbeams could trip PIRs, but newer infrared sensors help prevent this issue.
Micro Wave (Active Detectors):
Typically used on commercial and industrial premises, MWs emit pulses across long ranges to detect movement and cover wider areas than PIRs.
Dual technology sensors:
Dual sensors combine PIR and MV capabilities, which are ideal for more advanced security systems. A passive and active sensor work on different parts of the spectrum, and each one must detect movement for the alarm to activate.
Area-reflective sensors:
These are incorporated into LEDs, from which emit infrareds to detect movement within the range of a lighted area.
Ultrasonic sensors:
This sensor type is similar to the MV, only with ultrasonic waves, which detect movement across spaces.
Vibration sensors:
One of the cheapest options, vibration sensors are switch-activated to send out vibrations that detect motion.
