tank is at the 4th floor and I am at G Floor. I want to buy your sensors 6 in number. I will mount all of these in the tank at uniformly spaced levels. I intend to use 2 cells of 1.5 volt each connected in series giving me 3 volts . I bring all the 6 wires at my ground level and mount a small circuit in PCB. I connect lowest level senser to positive terminal of the battery. Now with remaining five sensors and the last sensor I connect with each senser a resistance R and LED in forward bias and other end of all the six diodes bunch together I connect to on/off switch or bell push switch and this end of the switch to negative terminal of the battery. This completes the circuit. when the tank is full and switch is on , all the six lamps glow. These lamps go dark one after the other as water level goes low. kindly tell me what should be minimum voltage used, resistance value and rating, and specifications of diode.
